With over a decade of experience in mental health counseling, Natalia Krys Hunt provides individual and family therapy for an array of mental health disorders, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, OCD, family conflict and abuse, as well as eating disorders, peer conflict, and parenting issues.
Natalia brings an eclectic, thoughtful and intelligent psychodynamic therapeutic approach to her practice, which includes a combination of orthodox and creative therapies. With the knowledge that no two clients are alike, Natalia employs different therapies depending on each circumstance.
Natalia works with adults, children, and families. As the lives of children and their families are inextricably woven together, she believes that in order to truly treat the child, she must also treat the family. Her specialization is adolescence - a time of great change and turbulence. Natalia provides parents with a deeper understanding of their children’s inner lives, and she helps families communicate more clearly and openly. She also shows parents how to navigate living with a teen who’s suffering, while simultaneously working with the teen to alleviate his or her suffering.
A lifelong learner, Natalia has earned a total of seven undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of mental health and education. Natalia received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Miami and her graduate degrees from the University of Florida.
